Velasquez, the 21-year-old son of Audra and Michael Velasquez of Hampton Township, departs Saturday, May 31, on a bicycle trip from San Francisco to Washington, D.C., all in the name of raising money for individuals with disabilities.
When all is said and done on Aug. 2, Velasquez will have traveled through California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland and the District of Columbia, stopping in more than 50 cities along the way.
