Journey of Hope Project Manager (South Route)
As a Project Manager for the 2018 Journey of Hope Team, Stephen is focused on planning the logistics for the South Route. In this position, he is focused on creating a memorable experience for the team members while striving to make a huge impact on anyone the team interacts with. Stephen enjoys connecting with sponsors and creating a lasting relationship to benefit the Ability Experience.
Stephen is a proud Roadrunner, graduating for the University of Texas at San Antonio with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in December 2017. As a member of the Iota Beta Chapter, he held a variety of leadership positions including Archon, Secretary, and Chaplain. During his undergrad experience, he attended Pi Kapp College for Emerging Leaders and was inducted into the inaugural class of the Ad Astra Society. Additionally, he served as Public Relations Coordinator and Crew Chief for the 2015 and 2016 Gear Up Florida team, respectively.
Stephen was born and raised in Houston, Texas where he enjoyed playing soccer, spending time with family and friends, playing video games, and traveling whenever he could. From a young age, he demonstrated a passion for traveling and service as he has attended multiple mission trips across world including Guatemala and Kenya as well as local trips in Houston, San Diego, and Pensacola. The Ability Experience was one of main reasons Stephen chose to join Pi Kappa Phi in 2012 to serve as an outlet to serve others and give back. A fun fact about Stephen is that he is a certified Ritualist in Pi Kappa Phi and has 7 little brothers in the fraternity.
