Patrick Carlson

Program Director

Patrick attended the University of Northern Colorado, where he studied journalism and recreation, tourism and hospitality and joined the Iota Kappa Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi. Additionally, he is a Pi Alpha, participating in Journey of Hope in 2017, and serving as a Journey of Hope project manager in 2018 and 2019. He also cycled Gear Up Florida in 2022. He joined Pi Kappa Phi staff in 2019 as a member of the marketing and communications team and transitioned to his current role in 2021. In his current role, he works on logistical items for The Ability Experience, specifically Journey of Hope and Gear Up Florida, as well as onboarding and success of the event team members. In his free time, Patrick enjoys cycling, hiking and spending time with his wife Sami, dogs Boone and Breck and cat Apollo.

Fun Fact: Patrick once saw Pete Davidson, Machine Gun Kelly and Bruce Rogers (the original Pi Alpha) at the same Denver Nuggets game.

Patrick can help you with summer event questions, as well as any ideas for The Ability Experience that you are hoping to share.
