Orientation Preview

Orientation offers a chance for team members to interact and get to know one another, learn about people with disabilities and most importantly participate in construction safety training provided by volunteers from A Concord Carpenter, LLC. and ToolBoxBuzz, to prepare them for the life-changing events ahead. This is going to be a very high energy, fast paced time for team members to dive head first into an experience that will change the way they view themselves and those around them.

Crew Orientation

Prior to the team arriving, crew members will undergo additional American Red Cross CPR and first-aid certification, team building, crew systems training, construction safety sessions and equipment preparation for the road.

Team Orientation

Bringing all the members together for the first time, team orientation is the beginning of an epic summer. With safety first in mind, orientation is broken down into two main components, “classroom style” education followed by hands on experience and skill assessment training. Each team member will gain knowledge and experience of tool usage, work site rules/safety and basic team operations.
