Liza serves The Ability Experience as Executive Assistant to CEO, Basil Lyberg.  She is thrilled to be returning to the non-profit sector and supporting such an outstanding organization as they work to develop servant leaders and support people with disabilities in so many important ways. 

After graduating from Davidson College and working in banking (and other) industries for several years, she returned to Charlotte where she served in leadership roles for numerous service-based school, church and community organizations while raising her three children.  For over a decade, she served on the board of the Charlotte Youth Ballet, including five years as chair.  Most recently, Liza has been owner/operator of a small fitness club in Charlotte which, much to her delight, allowed her to assist numerous members to overcome personal obstacles and meet or exceed their goals. 

With her family scattered around the world, Liza travels to visit them as often as she can. Food is her favorite hobby.  She loves to find new ways to make her friends and family marvel over new tasty sensations.  During the next year, Liza hopes to compile her passion for food into a cookbook.
