The Circle of Giving grant is an opportunity for chapters of Pi Kappa Phi to financially impact a local organization serving people with disabilities with whom they visit regularly throughout the year.
To be eligible for a Circle of Giving grant, a chapter must fundraise at least $50/per man or $5,000, whichever is less, during the previous calendar year and have an active volunteer relationship with a local organization that serves people with disabilities.
Circle of Giving grants will be awarded based on a chapter’s overall involvement with The Ability Experience, including: chapter fundraising total, number of members participating in a national Ability Experience events and interaction with your local volunteer relationship. Grants will be awarded for up to 25% of a chapter’s fundraising total and not all chapters are guaranteed to receive a grant.
Chapters will be notified by February 28 whether or not they have been awarded a Circle of Giving grant. If selected, The Ability Experience will inform the chapter and volunteer relationship organization of the amount and the grant will be provided in the form of a check.
Applications for 2019 Circle of Giving Grants are now open and due Friday, February 7th, 2020.
