Ask Anything Panel

Awareness is the first step to being an advocate for the disability community. We’ve pulled together a panel to answer your questions about their work and lived experiences.

This month marks 30 years since the Americans with Disabilities Act was passed into law. The civil rights legislation was a landmark bill that helped pave the way for increase accessibility and employment opportunities. We’ve pulled together a stellar panel that helped bring attention to the inequities facing the disability community and ask them about disability rights and the needs that still exist today.

Our July Ask Anything will feature two special guests, Jim LeBrecht and Nicole Newnham the directors of a new Netflix documentary, Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution. The documentary follows LeBrecht and others when they attended Camp Jened, a summer camp for people with disabilites and how it led into the American disability rights movement in the 1970s. Join us virtually as we discuss and ask questions about Crip Camp, the ADA, and everything in between.
