Family Visit Events

The Ability Experience is pleased to offer the family and friends of our team members the chance to experience life as a team member. Family and friends will get to see what the men have been doing by joining the team for events in the Denver (TransAmerica and North) or Dallas/Fort Worth (South). There is free time set aside on one of the days for team members to spend alone with their friends and family visiting.

Journey of Hope 2019

TransAmerica & North Routes

July 2-4, 2019 | Denver, CO

Join the TransAmerica and North routes as they come together in Denver, CO. There will be opportunities to participate in events with team members and enjoy some free time around town.

Tuesday, July 2
12:00pm – Arrival at Colorado Capitol Building (west side)
4:00pm – Pedal for Pennies event (City Park Pavilion)

Wednesday, July 3
8:30am – Breakfast at Mountaingate Capital (due to limited space, this is reserved for immediate family only)
10:00am – Free time

Thursday, July 4
5:30am – North route breakfast, circle up and team send off from lodging
6:30am – TransAmerica route breakfast, circle up and team send off from lodging

The North route will be staying at the Courtyard Marriott (934 16th Street), while the TransAmerica route will be staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott (1725 Champa St).

South Route

July 11-14 | Fort Worth and Dallas, TX

Join the South route as they come through the Metroplex and spend a few days in Fort Worth, Arlington and Dallas, Texas. There will be opportunities to participate in events with team members and enjoy some free time around town.

Team members will be staying together as a team in sponsored lodging locations in Fort Worth, Arlington, and Dallas, TX. Family members, please make reservations on your own if you plan on attending.

Thursday, July 11 (Fort Worth, TX)
12:00pm – Arrival and lunch
5:00pm – Dinner

Friday, July 12 (Arlington/Ft Worth, TX)
12:00pm – Lunch
4:00pm – Dinner

Saturday, July 13 (Dallas, TX)
6:30am – Breakfast, circle up and team send off (to Dallas, TX)
1:00pm – Free time in Dallas
4:30pm – Dinner

Sunday, July 14
6:00am – Breakfast, circle up and team send off (to Terrell, TX)
