Today we woke up in Flagstaff Az after a great night at the Family YMCA. We hit the road bright and early after a crew breakfast for our ride to Payson. We had no complaints as far as weather went. Due to the higher elevation, we were able to enjoy temperatures between 65*-80* for most of the day!
We had a 90 mile ride and up some pretty intense hills. Overall we all agreed this was one of our tougher rides. That being said the views all made it worth it. Tons of huge green pine trees and huge open views.
Once into Payson we had the entire gym of Payson High School and had some fun playing basketball and working out while the rest of the team showered and got ready post ride. That night we went over to the park and had some amazing pasta with the Payson Lions club. This was an amazing group of people who we had some much fun with. We enjoyed all the hospitality Payson showed us, and are grateful for the part they played in helping make such a great day.
