7/24/19 JOH South

A rather unusual day for the team as there was no riding! So we drove into Jackson’s Gap, Alabama where we were welcomed by Camp ASCCA. Camp ASCCA is a camp on beautiful Lake Martin that provides therapeutic recreation for children and adults with both physical and intellectual disabilities. We were able to get settled in before we got the opportunity to engage in various activities with the campers, ranging from karaoke to archery!

After dinner, the team as well as the rest of the camp were treated to a fun concert by a local R&B cover group. The dancing was endless and by the end of the night, everyone was exhausted but grateful for the opportunity to have been at Camp ASCCA.
