Today we had a 5 a.m. wake-up call and were prepared breakfast by Pi Kappa Phi alumnus, Monty Cash, from the Chi chapter at Stetson University. Shortly after breakfast and circle up, we hopped on the bikes and pedaled 75 miles from Clemson to Spartanburg, SC. The ride went by fast with few hills and some great weather. We arrived into Spartanburg around noon and had a friendship visit with the Charles Lea Center Foundation where we had a great time eating pizza and getting to spend time in the gym playing games and hanging out with the clients. Afterwards, we rode our bikes to lodging at Wofford College where the Carolina Panthers happened to be staying at as well! After showering up and relaxing for a little, we had another friendship visit with Miracle League and a Barbeque dinner to follow. Miracle League is a really cool opportunity where we get to partner up with a person with a disability and play baseball alongside them. This was a great way to end the long day and one day closer to Washington D.C.!
