We started the day with a catered Chick-fil-A breakfast where we munched on chicken biscuits and chicken mini’s. After that we met up with some fellow pi kapps from the Charlotte chapter to play some miracle league baseball. The Charlotte chapter actually raised enough money to buy the field their very own scoreboard. After three long innings the game ended in a tie, 38 to 38, because on journey of hope everyone is a winner. We went back to lodging to have a quick break before we meant up with a arm. pi kappa phi, the highest award a pi kapp can receive. He reserved the pool and hot tub at a local country club and we were able to chill in style. We left for dinner which was catered by the queens pi kapp chapter which possibly had the best Mac n cheese we’ve had on this trip. Once dinner was over we had some free time to shop in Charlotte or catch up on sleep before our next day of riding.
