Today the team went on a wonderful ride to Iowa City, IA. It was only about 30 miles – one of the shortest on the trip. After arriving at the U of I campus we were greeted by the local Southeast Iowa Arc. They invited us to a pizza party and we got to meet some individuals with disabilities. The folks at the Arc made us feel very welcomed. After some naps and lunch, we had a blast in the park singing, dancing, and playing twister. The participants at the Arc were very nice. We were laughing the night away and before we knew it it was time to leave. Tomorrow the team bikes to Davenport, IA. We will miss Iowa City, IA and the Hawkeyes! Much love.
