Today the team rode 80 miles into the city of Milwaukee! We had a difficult farewell to start the day as we departed from the gorgeous college town of Madison, Wisconsin. The ride itself had a bit more hills than expected, two of which were incredibly steep! Cyclist Andrew Kaskie’s family surprised us with amazing snacks that completely hit the spot at the halfway mark. After completing the trek, we met with Spina Bifida Wisconsin at a local bowling alley. Food, friends, and fun: bowling is always a hit! The day concluded with a final trip to Pewaukee Yacht Club where delicious dinner was served. The members were even generous enough to take us out on the lake with their boats and we had a massive water football game. The day was great and by the end of it, the whole team was beat and ready to sleep in on our day off the bike tomorrow.
