Today is our last day before we arrive in D.C. After yesterday’s tough ride, we expected today’s ride to be a piece of cake, but it was still 80 miles with a headwind and some climbing. The last 50 miles were spent on a bike path which was nice. We ended the day with a delicious lunch sponsored by the D’Amico family. Thanks Frank.

As for the rest of the day, we had a team dinner at a Chinese buffet restaurant, then did a gift exchange which turned out to be more of a roast, and signed jerseys. It’s been a great trip and I’m gonna miss it, but I think I speak for everyone when I say I’m ready to be done. The human body isn’t meant to bike everyday for 2 months. However, I’m forever grateful for the opportunity and all that I’ve learned. Here’s to the summer of a lifetime.
