We had the day off in Wichita today. We woke to an amazing sponsored breakfast that had biscuits and gravy, breakfast burritos, sweets, fruits and both regular and chocolate milk. We then loaded up into the vans and headed to Arrowhead West where we were greeted with huge smiles. They fed us a fried chicken lunch after some really fun teamwork games. We had to help get marbles get from one end of the building to the other only using paper towel tubes. We then took a photo outside in the front where we presented the center with a grant! After that, we headed to another friendship visit at Rainbows United Kids Cove where we had a massive shaving cream fight. I was cleaning shaving cream out of my hair hour after. Once that was over, we headed back to lodging where we had an hour or so to do whatever. Around dinner time, we loaded back up into the vans and headed to some of Pi Kappa Phi’s alumni business building where they sponsored a full taco bar with some ice cream for dessert. We thanked the sponsors and presented them with tee shirts and then headed back to lodging. We watched a movie and then headed to sleep. We have a long ride to Emporia tomorrow!
