Today was started off in Yakima, WA with the beautiful mountains in sight. The day started off very cool but soon turned into a beautiful 70 degrees and a lot of the boys got a “great” tan. All of the pacelines used extreme caution and showed true leadership and vigilance to get through the hills and long stretches of road. Being in the valley felt like something we all had never seen and overall the ride was a great experience. Tonight’s friendship visit was at the Arc of Tri-Cities and it was great to hear all of the different stories everyone had to tell us and how caring these people are. I think today we learned a lot not only on the road but also about the people we will continue to meet.
