July 12, 2017 – Abilene, TX to Stephenville, TX – 105 miles

Today we rode from Abilene, Texas to Stephenville, Texas. It was a 105 mile day so it was important that everyone was well rested and ready to face another century ride! The ride was long but everyone felt very good about it and were happy to have completed it. We even got milkshakes in a town called Dublin at the end of our ride!

The real fun began when we got into Stephenville and went over to a sponsor’s house for swimming and BBQ. Some people played in the pool for a few hours while others relaxed on the side. We enjoyed a nice BBQ meal with briskets, potato salad, and beans sponsored by the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce. It was yet another amazing meal along our journey! After dinner we took our team picture and headed to our mysterious lodging for the night. Turns out we were staying in a gorgeous ranch for the night! We were greeted by horses and big pastures. It was truly a memorable lodging experience. Today was a great day because we got to finish another century ride and make great memories. Thank you to the Stephenville Chamber of Commerce for making these memories possible!
