July 17, 2017 – Terrell, TX to Longview, TX – 100 miles
Today is Day 33 of our 59 day journey across the country. We traveled 100 miles from Terrell, TX, to Longview, TX. The ride was gorgeous and Mr. David Thomas sponsored a delicious barbecue lunch for us around mile 70. Once we arrived in Longview, we headed the to the AMBUCS club house for dinner and a friendship visit!
For dinner we had the biggest steaks I have ever seen and they were delicious! Can’t say thank you enough for the incredible hospitality! Also at the club house, we met Jace, a three year with KBG syndrome. He was the sweetest and happiest child. It was a blessing to to get to meet him and hear his amazing story. Overall it was an awesome last day in Texas. Tomorrow we head to Shreveport, Louisiana!
