Our day started off bright and early, reminiscent of the start of our journey where every day started before the sun rose. We left our lodging onto the road headed for the plains of Kansas. The team was set for a tough day of 100 miles before lunch. We were set to arrive into Garden City for an arrival for the clients of Mosaic. The cyclist pushed themselves and dominated the 100 miles into Kansas. The pace lines stared to roll in around 11:00 A.M. with some clearly exhausted guys. But the beauty of this trip is no matter hot tired they are there heads are always raise up high and huge smiles appear every time we roll into a friendship visit and today was no different! We rolled into the Mosaic center around 12:15 P.M. And the the clients were thrilled to see us. And tradition precedes the visit turned into a dance party. Cha cha slide, and thriller were the tunage we were boogieing to. After the visit the cyclist road the final 2 miles to our hotel for the night (yes I said hotel). The hotel is a treat we on trans-am are not use too! Our dinner for the night was provided by Grant Eplers at Golden Coral, I can promise the guys were more than happy to have an all you can eat buffet. Kansas has proven itself to be better than just open cornfields so far, We will see if it gets any better as we still have 8 days left in Kansas.
