Today the team woke up to a break in the beautiful weather we had been having. We were hit with a heavy rainstorm that delayed our departure from St. Louis, we didn’t let this affect our spirits though. We had a great sponsored breakfast in which we all feasted. We then got on our way as the rain died down. It was a cool overcast day that was a much needed break from the heatwave that had stuck with us all through Missouri. We had an arrival and a great friendship visit where team members showed participants the ins and outs of their bikes, played field games, and hung out under the sun. Finally, we relaxed at the YMCA where we played basketball and ate pizza.
