Today was our first day of work at Colorado Lions Camp. Our primary projects for the week are to extend a wheelchair ramp to a paved walkway and to remove and replace decking on a second wheelchair ramp. We started today working on extending the wheelchair ramp in front of the girls cabin. In order to do this we had to dig new post holes and pour concrete to secure the posts. We also had to flatten out the path that the ramp would take. As this was not a 10 man job a group of team members broke off and repaired a bench swing that had fallen apart due to bad weather. The bench swing was fully repaired but the ramp extension had to be delayed due to rain and lightning close by.
