Finally, the day we’ve been dreaming of all summer. The culmination of all our miles on the bike and the hundreds of memories made with each visit. As happy as we were to see the grass of the Capital Lawn, our tears were mixed in feelings of celebration and great sadness knowing we’ve come to the end of something so unique. After 67 days my family has grown by 28. We’ve grown together through hardship and adversity, we’ve shared moments no one will ever truly understand unless they were there, and through it all we have become closer than we ever thought possible. I was honored to have the privilege of leading these fine young men 4,350 across the United States, and watch them develop into the servant leaders our society needs to lead us into tomorrow.
