The day began with a 5:00 AM wake-up as we start another century ride to Breckinridge Co where we are joined by Mr. Dustin Jackson who has been a sponsor since 2007 for a ride along, where he joined my paceline with Ben Walters. He also provided our lunch on the road with sandwiches and lots of fruits. The day greeted us with a very cold morning which made the first 20 miles of the ride very challenging as we ascend our first peak of 9,600 ft. We expected the ride to take us 8 hours to finish but my pace line and I finish the ride just under 7 hours. The ride went very smooth and had amazing views. We got to know Dustin very well that he told us stories about working with KRG and his ride along and coaching with past teams. He gave Ben and me multiple techniques to improve our riding. Even though this ride is one of the most challenging rides we have because of the climbing we have to do, it is definitely one of the best rides we ever have and the team agrees.

Arriving at Breckenridge earlier than expected, we had time to explore downtown Breckenridge before our sponsored dinner at Source on the Maggie by Mr. Bruce Rogers, His Family, and KRG Capital Partners. The team and I are greatful to the generosity of Mr. Bruce Rogers and Family and  the KRG team all their support. The team enjoyed an amazing four-course meal which will help fuel us climb over Loveland Pass the next day. The team got a chance of meeting the next days ride along with participants. Team heads back to lodging and prepare for the next morning ride.
