Today’s ride was one of the best rides of the summer so far for me. Riding in a pace line with Ian Sundberg and Richard Dull was very efficient and we kept a great cadence and speed throughout the ride. the last big climb was tough for everyone but the nice 6% grade downhill into Missoula was a great break to get some serious speed. Ending a ride with chocolate milk is always a plus and today was no different. The sponsor dinner was also incredible, chicken pot pie, coleslaw, and vegetables was exactly what we all needed. Talking to the sponsors who made the dinner for us was incredible. They had so much experience when it came to biking and even cross-country cycling trips. One of the sponsors companies even made the first “Trans-America” route for people to follow to cycle across the country. I think as a group we all need the rest day tomorrow, and we are all looking forward to it.
