Today we woke up to a huge breakfast that was sponsored by the staff at Camp Easter Seal as we got ready to leave for Roanoke. The ride this morning was a beautiful one through the mountains of Virginia, and we enjoyed a ride along with Dr. Steven Andreaus. Once into Roanoke, we set up camp at the First Evangelical Presbyterian Church who also sponsored us with a picnic lunch with the congregation after their church service this morning; so much delicious food and dessert plus great fellowship and conversation made for a great lunch. Tonight we went up to Mill Mountain park to visit the zoo for our friendship visit where we played games, ate some barbecue, and rode the train around the exhibits.
