Today turned out to be another great free day to go sightseeing and travel around Williams, AZ. One of my favorite parts of today was traveling to Bearizona, a drive thru wildlife park only 10 minutes away from Camp Civitan. Here we spent a couple of hours getting to see all of the animals and watching a raptor show where birds were able to fly over the crowd inches away from knocking off your hats. It was truly amazing!
After Bearizona, the Build America team got to join in on tonight’s evening programming, the dance. I had a blast getting to dance with all of the campers and staff. My favorite moment was getting to have a dance off with Devan, and he really knew how to break it down on the dance floor! I can’t wait to see what the rest of the week has in store, it has been unforgettable.
