Today’s ride was really fun. We woke up from our beds in Emporia and we’re soon on the road towards Topeka, KS. There were a lot of rolling hills and the scenery that we got to go through was a bit refreshing compared to the crop fields we’ve grown used to over the next few days. The humidity is really starting to ramp up so we’ve been making sure to drink a lot of water to stay hydrated. Our average pace has been increasing as it gets warmer as we tend to push ourselves more in hopes of beating the heat. We were welcomed by TARC, Inc. who sponsored our meals and lodging during our stay. Thank you TARC for a wonderful stay in Topeka! We’re resting up for our ride to Olathe tomorrow.
