With our day off in Cincinnati, we woke up to a sponsored breakfast that involved breakfast sandwiches and hash browns. After that, some of the team either caught up on some needed rest from or ventured around the city of Cincinnati.

For me personally, it was my birthday and I had a friend from RIT come down from Columbus come visit to venture around downtown. There were many different things to do around the city such as going to the Carew Tower Observation Deck to see the whole city or take some pictures at the Sing the Queen City sign.

After a crew chief lunch, we were able to go to one of the team member’s, Chris Beck, parent’s homes to play basketball, cornhole, swim, and to simply relax. Later in the evening we were provided dinner from both Chris Beck and our project manager’s, Matt Sutter, parents. Overall it was a great day off to relax and recover for our ride into Kentucky the next day.
