Today marked the beginning of our first construction project of the summer. At the Akron Rotary Camp the team is working on a new fence that will encompass a plot that the camp recently took over. We started the morning by removing an existing chain link fence. After removing the old fence we dug new post holes and cut new posts. At the end of the day we poured cement to secure the first of the posts.
When we finished work for the day, Dan, the camp director, invited the team to his house for a wonderful home cooked meal. The day concluded with a game of Speak Out and some Mario Kart. It was a great first day of construction and the team is excited to continue working on our projects.
