Today the team enjoyed a nice downhill ride into Shoshone. The weather has began to warm up, making the mornings less brutal. The team made it to the Shoshone High School and completed the 95 miles before 2 p.m. It is apparent that everyone’s legs and stamina are getting much stronger. Morale was high as groups explored the area, some getting Philly Cheesesteaks and milkshakes at Phillies and Cream, some jumping off cliffs into the reservoir, some doing both. We enjoyed a nice dinner at the Shoshone Senior Center where long-time sponsors welcomed and fed us. As the temperatures pick up and the team spends more time together, it is key that we remain level-headed and conscious of each other’s health and safety. All things considered, we are doing a great job of that as we continue to knock out big days and inch our way across the map of the United States.
