Today was a great day for the TransAmerica team as we traveled from our orientation site in Gig Harbor, WA to Seattle, WA where our journey will begin. We started the day off by heading to Kerry Park for a team photo with the beautiful city in the background where we will kick off.

After the photo, the team was able to check into our lodging site in downtown Seattle and then explore the city. Family and friends joined us from all over to country to celebrate the kick off of our Journey of Hope. We had dinner with our guests at Buca Di Beppo Seattle and then took a minute to thank everyone in attendance for their dedication and support to The Ability Experience. We wouldn’t have this amazing opportunity to travel the country and make an impact in the community without the hard work and support of our friends, family, and staff.

Following the dinner, the team used their free time to hang with family and friends, explore the city, and most importantly, rest up for the day ahead. We’re excited to kick of the 2017 TransAmerica Journey of Hope. We encourage you to continue to stay updated with our trip by checking back on our journal here.
