Shaw attended Western Illinois University where he studied communication and joined the Iota Rho Chapter of Pi Kappa Phi. A two-time Pi Alpha, he has participated in Gear Up Florida as a crew member in 2022 and Journey of Hope as the project manager for the North route in 2023. Since joining Pi Kappa Phi staff in 2023, he has worked with a portfolio of chapters to raise funds and support for The Ability Experience and recruited participants for summer events and experiences, as well as facilitating ability camps and redesigning the Pi Kapp Gaming program. In his free time, Shaw enjoys running, gaming and spending time with his family.
