Today we had a big ride into Danville Virginia. A long 97 mile ride still seems daunting even this late into the trip. But with D.C. so close we were excited to hit the road. David’s dad, nicknames Dr. Danger Dad, rode along with us and impressed us all as he climbed those steep Virginia hills. Dr. Gross even sponsored our dinner. Something we all had forgotten all about: Chinese food! Our chopstick skills were tested to say the least. Furthermore, we couldn’t resist hitting up Dairy Queen for dessert afterward. A day for the books as Dr. Danger Dad became a part of the team.
