Day 23: Empire Colorado (off day), July 1st 2019

Today in the team enjoyed an amazing day off the bikes at Rocky Mountain Village in Empire, Colorado. We enjoyed some amazing sponsored meals and were able to interact with the campers throughout the day. Cyclists split into groups to join in on the schedules camp activities including fishing, ziplining, swimming, arts and crafts, and archery. The theme for this week of camp at Rocky Mountain Village was gold rush. Team members were able to participate in themed skits and had a blast performing one of our own. The day concluded with an excellent dinner sponsored by the camp and a lovely concert at the outdoor stage nestled behind the mess hall. The views of the mountains were beautiful and our time at Rocky Mountain Village was memorable, to say the least. We were also able to meet the team for Build America during our stay at RMV. It was so cool to see another summer event team and experience brotherhood in such an amazing way. We all hope to return to Rocky Mountain Village in the future!
