Today we left camp. It was an emotional time as it was difficult to leave the bonds we made over the week. We made our way to Phoenix, where we were greeted with a sponsored lunch by John Heck, who brought Jersey Mike’s. After that we took a rest, and then went to a dinner at Charr’s Grill. That was all the pregame for the highlight of our night: The Lion King.
We went to go watch the new The Lion King in theaters. It was a fun and nostalgic time for the team, seeing a classic reimagined on the big screen. A tad longer than the original, it stuck to the original story, with very few changes. The music was great, and was a great cap to the night.
