Today was our first work day at Camp Paivika. To start the day off, we helped campers during their departure process from the camp, as the camp operates on a different weekly schedule than most. After that, we went to the nature center and started on our projects, constructing planter boxes and picnic tables. At the end of the work day, we finished one planter box and both of the picnic tables, putting us in a good position to wrap up those projects tomorrow morning. Then we proceeded to go swimming in Camp Paivika’s pool, which was an absolute blast. Unfortunately there are not any campers until Thursday this week, but it is easy to make the best of the situation by entertaining ourselves
