Happy 4th of July! With today being our last full day at Rocky Mountain Village, we set our minds on getting as much done with the boardwalk by the climbing wall. We had already set up three sections of the boardwalk, and by the end of the day, we made an additional two sections and placed decking on the first three. We also continued railing on the previous boardwalk. For lunch, we were catered a wonderful BBQ buffet by Big Horn Crossing.
During evening programming, we got to join the campers in the dance! I met this great camper, Cherryl, who is 60 years old and has been attending the camp for about 36 years. I plan on keeping in touch with her by sending letters as she told me letters were her favorite thing to do. It was also great getting to know her and how she would love to see Build America next year. The camp finished up the night setting off fireworks to celebrate the holiday.
