Today the team rode to Lynchburg, Virginia. Our 55 mile ride into town was a much needed break before we tackle Charlottesville and Front Royal. Leaving Roanoke we had an awesome breakfast from Bojangles sponsored by Ed Bennett. Once we got into town, we set up shop at the University of Lynchburg. Our lodging sponsor, Annette Stadtherr, made us feel right at home with a lunch at the University’s amazing dining hall. After a quick shower break, we went across town to our Friendship Visit at the Arc of Central Virginia. We shared a wonderful pasta dinner with the clients. Once dinner was finished, the team moved to the dance floor and had a great time with the participants. One particular highlight was an all-team Macarena that was probably our best of the summer. It’s been a wonderful ride so far, and as we get closer to DC, the team remains focused and vigilant.
