Today the team cycled from Dubois, Wyoming to Shoshoni. The ride of about 94 miles showed more descent than climbing and some pace lines looked to show off their speed on the bike. After leaving lodging at 7:00 AM, the team took off. Accompanied by a tail wind and racing to avoid getting caught in rain, everyone arrived at lodging by 1:00 PM. Most pace lines spent between 4 and 5 hours on the bike with an average speed of 20-25 miles per hour.

The Shoshoni Senior Center generously hosted us for dinner and the food did not disappoint. Hot dogs, ravioli, country fried steak, quesadillas, and tilapia were only some of the dishes served. Team members also packed a paper bag of snacks for the road.

We then returned to lodging at Shoshoni High School to rest and prepare for our 104-mile ride. Some team members played basketball and volleyball while others journaled or watched the Florida Gators win the College World Series. The day proved to be enjoyable and the high school, accommodating, as we prepared for the ride into Casper.
