For our day off in Denver, our team got much needed time to sleep, relax, and spend time with family. Bruce and Sally Rogers hosted a mouthwatering breakfast for us at MountainGate Capital, in downtown Denver. Bruce, the first Pi Kapp to ride across the country for what was then Push America in 1987, shared stories about past Journeys of Hope. He gave a presentation on his private equity firm and showed us around his office. After hearing about MountainGate’s impressive track record and seeing the panoramic views from his window, I suspect the team will be polishing up our resumes to pursue opportunities like that. After, everyone got a chance to explore the city. For dinner, the Kelly Family hosted the team for a rib and brisket barbecue. The team got to enjoy the town of Morrison, CO—home to Red Rocks Amphitheater.

Rested and recharged, the team rolls east.
