Today we rode from Spokane Washington to Rathdrum Idaho, crossing our first state line! We had a great breakfast prepared by Tom with The Salvation Army in Spokane and then took off on our 35 mile ride. It was our shortest ride yet, so after having the day off yesterday we were able to ride pretty fast and have plenty of time to relax when we got to Rathdrum. We arrived and are staying at Camp Twinlow in cabins next to Twin Lakes which is really sweet! There wasn’t a friendship visit today, but we were able to meet another group that was doing a retreat at the camp. Spaghetti and fettuccini alfredo was prepared by the great camp staff and then we hung out playing basketball, ultimate frisbee, and making s’mores around a fire. Overall it was a good ride, and a relaxing day hanging out by the lake.
