Gear Up Florida and Journey of Hope have returned to in-person shared experiences after last year’s slate of virtual events. Pi Kappa Phi brothers will log 9,000 miles this summer in service to people with disabilities.
The Gear Up Florida team kicked off their return to the road by hosting 11 Friendship Visits with nine different organizations over their two week trek. Inspiring alumnus David White, Beta Alpha (NJIT), led the team in fundraising, who collectively raised over $100,000.
The Journey of Hope team is well on their way to logging over 4,000 miles between the North and South routes. So far, they have raised $320,000.
